Begur is an attractive Medievil village that sits below the ruins of an ancient stone castle. Wander through the narrow cobbled streets, stop for a cold beer in one of the many street cafes an then enjoy some lunch or tapas at one of the local establishments. The area has a number of good hotels and some quality apartments or villas which cater for most budgets. The delightful beach is about 1.5 Kilometres from the village and in this area there are many small bays with clear auamarine sea that can be enjoyed. All have good beaches with good tourist facilities including many fine restaurants, cafes and various shops. This part of spain is blessed with a fantastic coastline and is very popular with the folk from Barcelona which has kept the quality high.
